There is no way around it. Being a reapplicant is HARD! The amount of money, time and energy that goes into applying to medical school is beyond normal, so when it doesn't work out, it can be devastating. But being able to assess, regroup, pick back up and try again is the only way to go.
I work with many reapplicants who are perfectly fine as people and applicants, but for whatever reason, they fell through the cracks on their first try. They bounced back, sought help and got in on their second try.
I'm bringing some of them back to talk about their experiences as reapplicants, share tips that worked for them, and hopefully instill some hope for those currently facing a potential reapplication.
