Cancellation Policy

Valid September 2026-July 2028 This agreement is between My Honest Advisor (all advisors), and you the client for services to be rendered by the advisor for the benefit of the client. By purchasing the services of My Honest Advisor, you acknowledge that these terms are in effect. I will be providing advice in the area of admissions applications, career advice, and related subjects. The type of advice I will provide includes guidance on your personal statement, application strategy, activities description, formulating a school list, mock interviews, etc. based on the services and package you have purchased. Consultant’s responsibilities include: Professional evaluation of all available application materials. In-depth interviews with the client to recommend appropriate schools. Holistic advice regarding all aspects of the application process. Provide editing services within a reasonable amount of time. Respond to emails/text messages within a reasonable amount of time. Consultant’s responsibilities do not include: Guarantee of placement to any health profession program. Execution of undue pressure for admission to schools/programs. Editing documents with another advisor’s comments on it. Being available beyond a reasonable timeframe for communication, for example in the middle of the night. The consultant shall neither solicit nor accept compensation from any school or institution for the placement of the client. Any therapeutic or counseling advice outside of Life Coaching. Editing/pre-reading documents outside of scheduled times. Doing so will be done at the discretion of the advisor and should not be an expectation. Client’s responsibilities include: You will write all your essays. Do not turn in AI writing to be edited. You are responsible for sharing all essays as Google docs with advisors. Make the consultant aware if you are using other outside editors or consultants for the purpose of writing/editing documents being discussed with consultant. It is highly recommend that you do not have multiple editors on any document also shared with our advisors. Maintain confidentiality between consultant and client. Client is not to post on a public social media platform any of the advice that the consultant provides. Client must make consultant aware in advance when the client records consultant in a zoom meeting. Show up to scheduled meetings or cancel in advance.
